Volunteer opportunities

 

​Before the event:

​

• The day before usually Thursday

• Meet at the warehouse

• A Spotter to help guide the Driver backing up and then hooking up the Shower Trailer

• Load up supplies to distribute to the campers

• Drain the gray water tank

• Fill the Fresh water tank with "drinking water safe" hose

• Inventory soap, disinfectant, towels, etc.

ON LOCATION:

​

• The day of usually Friday

• A Spotter to guide the Driver parking the Shower Trailer

• Lock swing out grab bars

• Set up canopies, tables, chairs and supplies

• Hook up gray water tank

• Open gray water valve

• Turn on heaters and propane 

• Two people to do "check-in" sign ups

• A person timing the showers

• A person checking the pumps

• A person to disinfect each shower stall after each use

​

AFTER THE EVENT:​

• Take the Shower Trailer back to the warehouse

• A spotter to guide the driver backing in 

• Disconnect; Return van
